I tried a recipe for a protein shake with minimally processed ingredients. Was not impressed. Way too much liquid; I had to add tons of ice to thicken it so it ended up tasting watered down. Will try again with half the milk and twice the yogurt.

Sometimes it takes some tweaking of recipes to get it how you like it! I’ve tweaked many recipes to get it right!

I make my protein shakes with almond milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, frozen fruit & a few ice cubes. They come out pretty thick & creamy.

I always use frozen fruit- doesn’t go bad rapidly and replaces the ice! Also add a protein powder with collagen and just water. It comes out more like a shake with extra fruit, vice versa with water…
It helps that most frozen fruit is preloaded into the app…
Good luck!

I did use a frozen banana because I have plenty iny freezer. Probably will try adding frozen berries and other fruit next time I need to thicken a shake or smoothie.
