Glucose reading: 108 mg/dl
I'm just trying to stay below 180 until my 5 day fast restarts on Monday. So far so good :) I sure miss waking up to a 83 glucose reading. I had planned on a 'bulletproof coffee' this morning, but I always use cappuccino mix and that has sugar and then I add Splenda to it. 4 hours later and I am always hungry and that starts cravings and I end up snacking and ect. ect. ect.
So this morning I am having green tea and Splenda. I want to see if the Splenda causes my blood sugar to spike.
Today I plan to have a McDonald's Big Mac. Honestly I really don't want it today, but it has been my go to mental obsession for the past 3 weeks while fasting. I just need to get this one out of my head :) I plan to eat it, wait an hour, then go on a 7 mile run.
Later tonight the wife and I have a date night and plan to go out and have Mexican food. If I come back with less than a 2 pound weight gain I will be happy :)
