🏋🏿 yesterday I was able to easily lift 200lbs on my Squats and Deadlifts. If I can hold on to this, it will make me really happy. That means this latest bulk really did its job.

My only 'carb up' was a bottle of orange juice (thanks @Chrisw77!) with a scoop of protein right before my workout. This is now my 'go to' and I do not plan to take anything stronger before a workout.

🍕 Tonight I break the fast with Quest Pizza. This stuff has sooo much fiber that I can barely eat only 3 small pieces. I may still lose another pound tomorrow...

Yes - that 200# is becoming your norm!! Good idea with the OJ for quick energy for the lifting. I really wanted to do that push up challenge but after hurting my shoulder and arm there is no way I'm able to - I was doing 15-20 before but I had my ankles up on one of those big exercise balls - really like doing those. ENJOY THAT PIZZA!!

@nikeit - I will allow myself to only lift 200# until January. After that I must get up to 220 :)

@Baskington - As you could tell from my 'whining' it is so hard mentally for me to take a 7 pound weight gain in three days and I STILL have 4 pounds to lose to get back to where I was and that is STILL 3 pounds above my goal :)

your new goal is to build muscle and sorry that will add weight. If you are serious about your muscle building you may never get down that low again without losing muscle mass. and that is something you really do not want to do. You need to focus! you are not in a diet any more, you are in maintenance and wanting to build those beautiful muscles. and yes your water gain from eating etc will be quickly gone, with your liquid fasting if you have time before thanksgiving. after thanksgiving is when you may actually bulk up weight as I know you will be fully enjoying the holiday! Please don't worry so much about weight. focus on how your body looks and feels. Life can be good and you know you can control things. You got this!

I am struggling with my weight gain too, I am going to home on Monday and I don't know when I will be back, I am thinking to leave the scale here, I know that if I gain muscles my body will look better, but weight gain freaks me out 🤯😰

@Baskington - Over the next 7 days I WILL gain weight. I just have to accept it. However, I just-can't-hit-180! But, I may come REALLY close...

yes I know that is when your real bulk begins. try to just enjoy yourself, work comes too soon.

@CrashtestDawnie - The best thing about the Quest Pizza is that you can only eat 2-3 pieces (they are very small pieces), before you become incredibly full.
