34 pushups 2019 PUSH UP Challenge!

I was a bit surprised that I 📉 lost a pound yesterday. When I broke my 5 day fast I decided to go on a 'carb binge' because I knew I would only have about 6 carbs today (because I plan to eat steak all day).

I got on the scale this morning and I LOST weight? :) I looked back at my food log, and while my calories were way above normal, my carbs were still way below the 100 carb limit that usually causes me to gain weight. 👍🏾

So, if 'steak day' goes well I may not gain any weight. Sunday will be an 'eating day' so I may gain some weight ('mentally' I 'gotta eat anything I want!' a few days every week). However, I may avoid my usual 'weekend weight gain'. I would love to start Monday at say 170lbs...

💪🏾 Did I mention that increasing my pushups by one a day is getting REALLY hard at this point? :)

You are doing a killer job with those push ups!!!! Here's to 35 of 'em!! I bought a beautiful sirloin yesterday - gotta' love steak - enjoy your steak day!!

@fitfinesse - Thanks! I shouldn't be complaining because I am about to go to the gym where I need to complete 30 reps of squats at 200lbs :)

@nikeit - Thanks! I-am-so-looking-forward to eating steak today. First one is planned at noon, then at 3:00 with the last at 6:00...

Nice drop! I see you are still measuring blood sugar ADWS, how are you feeling and is the body responding as well as you anticipated to your improved fitness and lower weight??

@Steven Lloyd - Thanks! The 'shape' of my body has 'completely changed' over these past 3-4 months! I plan to take some pictures if I can hit 165lbs (my BMI weight). My arms finally look good to me. My concentration now is on 'ripped abs' :)

Are you looking to replace fat with muscle - or are you still trying to lose fat? You do not look as though you need to lose anything...you have done well!

@HCB _ Right now I just want to drop weight so I can have 'room to gain weight' during the 2 week Christmas Holiday. I plan to use that as a period to 'bulk up'. I plan to workout hard during this period. Yes, I will be gaining muscle, but it will come with a lot of fat and water so I will have to 'cut' again as soon as the New Year hits. Well, that's the 'plan' anyway :)

@Keilin_4 - Looks like all I can stand to eat so far is one steak. I am drinking my protein shakes mostly. I plan to have one more steak tonight (making two steaks total). I went to the gym after eating my first steak, and I was able to easily maintain my 200 pound lifts, so that is good :) Let's see what the scale says tomorrow :)

@Keilin_4 - I decided to have steak and scrambled eggs with cheese for dinner. So "Steak Only" was a bust 😪

It's still good, don't get sad about it, because it will make things worse, I didn't planned my snacks from today, it just happened 🤷‍♀️😁
