ended up just running from dawn until close to midnight last night. nibbled a little after pizza, but no dinner. played in the pool with niece before sending her home this morning. I guess school starts after next week. got up at 5 this morning and while initial plans were to go back to bed, I didn't. drove through downtown on the way home from the airport, wow, there's a lot of empty buildings. going to be interesting. hope we don't lose control of it like when I was a little kid and you just didn't go downtown unless you had to. two different snapshots of San Diego before things get busy around 6am. looks like the kraken is going to eat the Star of India and then the gorgeous hills to the east which you can't always see from the road to my little house. I really miss walking and seeing things. going to have to figure things out. might be a couple more months. blob down, muscle holding, water needs to be replenished, but I didn't want to drink and drive, haha. more like I was half asleep when I first got in the car. more like I forgot it on the counter in my sleepy haze. onwards! weekend rules and I'm going to swim early today. I can see the water from my front rooms, I like to think of it as the edge of the world. The view from my flat roof is epic, I just need to build up one day. Or not.
