Only got half the mowing done yesterday. Got stung on the wrist by a yellow jacket and that was my cue to leave the rest for another day! :D

Thanks, Lee-Erin! We've had some warm days, but 55 highs at this time of year is chilly! Thanks Glamper! I'm ok. The sting is on my wrist so I think that is what is causing the large area of extreme itching. I got too close to a yellow jacket nest. But Benadryl helps!

Is the benadryl helping with itch too? If not you can get some calamine lotion to put on to see if it helps

Yes, it really helps the itch a lot. Ive been putting on a baking soda paste to pull out the poison and that helps some too. Ive got calamine lotion also. Good stuff!

You're not kidding! I have been surprised on how large the area is that itches! It travels from the original site into my hand and even into my forearm! My son said he is going to come one night and deal with the nest. They've made it under one of my lawn chairs.

Oh I will, thanks! This itching gets intense.. It's steady pouring cold rain here today, so Im having hot soup and reading the afternoon away to take my mind off it!
