My husband is narcissistic but not as bad as your daughter's. They don't usually show their colors till after marriage. Now that my husband is old (88) he has gotten worse as his health and brain are deteriorating. Although he hit me a couple of times in the last couple of years, it was on Aug 17, that (I "call" it) that he beat me up, more or less. He has not hit me in almost 8 months. But he gets mad at me almost every day, so is still abusive in other ways. I love wine while I am making dinner to relieve the stress of not leaving a disabled husband after 63 years of marriage. I'm too old to start over (82). Recently I saw a YT video about sleep and that wine inhibits Deep Sleep and REM sleep. I don't get enough sleep so I have decided to give up wine. It doesn't matter if others criticize me for staying, I am determined to last as long as I can. But I would never advise that for others. My circumstances are different. I could not live this life without the Lord. I pray your daughter's life improves.
